What Sports Dentistry Covers

Sports dentistry is the prevention and treatment of dental injuries from athletic activity. On-Field First Aid

For a knocked-out tooth: pick it up by the crown, rinse without scrubbing, reinsert it if possible, or store it in milk. For a chipped or displaced tooth: save any fragments, rinse, use a cold compress, and call us. Even a small chip can hide a crack that reaches the nerve, so get it looked at within a day or two rather than after the season.
